I am a stay at home mom, so I do have to wash my hands a lot (changing diapers, doing dishes, etc..). What can I do, they hurt and sometimes bleed! My thumbs are the worst!

I get some skin cracking between my fingers every winter..it's due to all your washing (all the oils come off) and also the dry air in your house. look into a warm mist humidifier. also, if you have some diaper ointment around, that might help. Better yet, there is a product called "Aquapor" which is really great, you can find it in your first aid department, it has vitamins which encourage skin growth. Smear some on your hands before going to bed and cover with a sock or bandage (your husband won't like it though :_))) I heard of some people using something called "Crack Creme" too, and that works if you can't get the Aquapor.

I used to get that every winter from working outside. There is a product called Corn Huskers Lotion. It works pretty good and isn't greasy.
