I have been sexualy active for just over a year now and my period for last month (22 Jan +-) never came. Does this mean i am pregant? could it be a fluke? Only answer if you REALLY know what you are talking about and i dont need life advice, just need an answer! Im pretty much petrified of falling pregnant so try be a bit optimistic if possible

Its sounds as if you are pregnant, if you are more than a week late, you are probably pregnant. If you took a pregnancy test at this time, it would show the true results. If you are feeling any breast tenderness also, that is an indication that you are. Take a test (Clearblue Easy). I wish you luck!

Are you having unprotected sex??? if so, WHY??? Even if you are with a consistent partner, you are taking a risk each and every time you have sex, your fault. Now, to put things in perspective, this is serious, you are late. Go to the store and buy and ept test and take it now. Once you know the results, you will then be able to take your next step. If pregnant, there are other options than abortion. If you are old enough and financially stable enough and mature enough, you can have the baby, if not, you can still have the baby and consider adoption. If you are not pregnant, you can make a choice to begin taking birth control and protecting your self. If you take birth control, this will regulate your period as well. Don't be scared, it's life, and with life comes learning experiences..........hopefully this will be one for you.

IF YOU ARE PREGNANT:

Your baby will be born on or around Friday, September 28, 2007.

You are 6 weeks pregnant.
How your baby's growing: The cells that will make up all of your baby's body parts and systems are dividing furiously as her body begins to take shape. Right now she's about the size of a small lentil bean (4 to 5 millimeters across). If you could see through your uterine wall, you'd find an overlarge head and dark spots where her eyes and nostrils are beginning to take shape. Shallow pits on the sides of her head mark her developing ears, and her arms and legs appear as protruding buds. Her hands and feet look like paddles, with thick webbing between the developing digits, but her fingers and toes will soon become more distinct. Below the opening that will later be your baby's mouth, there are small folds where her neck and lower jaw will eventually develop. (Inside, her tongue and vocal cords are just beginning to form.)

Your baby's heart (which is starting to divide into the right and left chambers) is beating about 100 to 130 beats per minute — almost twice as fast as yours — and blood is beginning to circulate through her body. Her intestines are developing and tiny breathing passages are beginning to appear where her lungs will be. She's also starting to build muscle fibers and, halfway through this week, she'll likely start moving her tiny limbs. Unfortunately, you'll probably have to wait until you're several weeks into your second trimester before you get to enjoy feeling your baby's calisthenics.
If you haven't already, you may soon find yourself riding pregnancy's emotional roller coaster, feeling moody one day and joyful the next. Disturbing as this may be — especially if you pride yourself on being in control — what you're going through is completely normal and will probably continue throughout your pregnancy. Up-and-down emotions are partly caused by fluctuating and (in many cases) very high levels of hormones. But hormones aside, your entire life is about to change — and who wouldn't feel emotional about that?

Spotting (finding spots of blood on your underpants or toilet tissue after urinating) or bleeding is common in early pregnancy, but sometimes it can be the first sign of miscarriage. If you have any spotting or bleeding, call your doctor or midwife right away so she can determine whether your spotting indicates a potential problem.

First off, take a test to rule out pregnancy.
However, it can be totally normal to skip a cycle. I had this happen a few years ago and really freaked out. I took several tests ~ all negative. I called my doc and he said not to worry unless I miss another one.
Hey, you might feel alot better if you just get a test and take it.
Also, if you should turn up pregnant, it's not the end of the world.

It could be a fluke considering the stress you are in worrying about pregnancy. Suggest you purchase a EPT kit and then consider your options.

if you didn't have your period, then it's passable you are, you should not be that late, take a test to find out but buy a good one like EPT or any name brand one so you will get an accurate result
