why is it that your parents always tell u to stay young while you can, but the minute you do something childish, they tell you to grow up?

they tell you to enjoy being young because you've probably did something to make them feel evey bit of their age. And most likely they're telling you to just grow up because you're doing something retarded. Which is true.
