I've learned that there are so many men that like it when they can control me and tell me what to do, but I've never started a relationship whith them because I don't need a daddy. I am better off standing my ground or Am I being too strong headed and need to submit and commit. Do you really like a quite passive woman when you start a relationship. Go on Be honest.

Coming from another female, trust me, you want the best of both worlds. if i show my bf that i dont need him for anything, then he will feel useless and unloved. reguardless of whether it is true or not. but also, i want to show him that i am not his slave, in which i must commit to his every desire and demand. i am my own person too... i like to switch it up every so often... giving us both the best of both worlds, and i do the same to him.... this way, he feels that you love and respect him, but he also understands that your doing this NOT bc your some girl with no head on her shoulders, but bc you admire your man and love and respect him back.

Personally I prefer a woman that is independent, strong-willed, and knows what she wants from life. If I wanted a passive woman then I would "rent' one for a few hours (that will NEVER happen in my lifetime!) I find a woman that is my equal to be so much more of a thrill than any passive woman could ever hope to become!! You keep your strengths, and don't submit to anyone!! If you submit to someone, how do you ever expect to find the right man for you? Keep looking because he is out there somewhere.

Not me. I love for my girl to take charge sometimes. Just find the middle ground. Yes you may have to let go a little bit because some guys get intimidated by a strong woman. But I also don't want a passive one either.

First off, being a friend, I wouldn't say or do anything that might affect your friendship. Too many times a friend will say something bad only to have it thrown back in their face if the couple get back together. I guess your friend will need to take a good look at her life and see if there is anything that's worth salvaging in her marriage. Her husband seems to be a wanderer since this is his 3rd affair in several years....have things been bad between them all that time? I would feel betrayed and I'm not sure I'd be able to get over it, and the trust factor is a major part. Just tell your friend that you support her in whatever decision she makes regarding her life.

I like a woman to self assured enough to understand that being passive at the right times is not only OK but can be very rewarding.

Men who want to control women are not the best for relationship -I 'd say they're probably the worst. Men and women are supposed to be equal.

I was happy to see that some guys in here like to treat girls well.

Life and love is a two way street, too much of being passive and dominant is not always a good thing.

Do you want to be passive and pretend to be someone you're not for the rest of your life? If not, you'll hurt two people when you've had enough of the charade. Be yourself or you won't be happy.

Good luck.

If a guy is wanting to control you he is all BDSM or he's a jerk looking for sex. Be assertive to an extent, and don't let a guy fk u around like a toy...or he'll just get used to u as a toy and might get violent if you suddenly decide otherwise.
