Def don't leave them in room temp b/c you risk them melting into non-distinguishable blobs. The fridge aside from making them sweat may also allow the chocolate to absorb some extra flavors mingling within your fridge, so both of those options are a no go!!! Try putting them in the freezer, but control your temp as close to around 55-60 degrees as possible. If it's too chilly, you risk the chocolate cracking and breaking, which is def not what you want. Good luck!!!

Keep them in a cool dry place - a mud room closet on an outside wall - usually one of the coldest places in the house - with out freezing. The basement is another option, but they are usually slightly damp, and your chocolate may pick up off flavors.
This happened to me a few years ago. I called the company to complain, and they refunded my money, AND resent my order so it showed up on the right day. I wasn't asking for anything like that - just letting them know that they screwed up.

No Fridge they will sweat when you take them out! Just keep them out of the kitchen where they may get too warm and away from the heat. Just keep them at room temp, just not warm. =)

I actually suggest you put them in the freezer and take them out a couple hours before you give them out. I always put chocolate in the fridge when I want to eat it later. Nothing will happen to them, just make sure to take them out a little early so whoever bites into it wont crack a tooth. <=== J/K

Keep them at room temperature. If you place them in the freezer they get that white coating over them. If you place them in the fridge they will sweat. Place them in your pantry or in one of your cupboards. You want to keep them out of heat and away from any humidity.
