Does shampoo & conditioner have a shelf life? If so how long?

usually if it does on the back or somewhere on the bottle it will have a little picture of a bottle cap that is open, and inside the picture it will have a number. This number represents the amount of months the shampoo is good for once it has been opened. This goes for all beauty products as well

Most hair products do have a shelf life. It can be upwards of a couple of years, but with the increase in more natural, organic-type ingredients, it can really shorten the life of the product. Any change in consistency or color or smell can indicate a product that is past it's prime. When in doubt, throw it out.

It is good until it grows hair of its own and has to have its own even smaller little bottles of shampoo and conditioner so that it can keep itself clean. Up til then is fine. Just be sure to shake it up good.
