If you are a student, you can get an educational version of it for less than half the price.
Its the full function photoshop, but available to students for a BIG discount.
Youll need to provide the selling company with a school ID, or class schedule though.
Thats how I got all of my desktop publishing software legally when I was in school.

Try this place for 1....

Or as others will tell you, you can get it illegally online somewhere for free.....

If you dont need the full professional version, Adobe sells Photoshop Elements for about 90 bucks which gives you basic photo editing capabilities.

There's also a free open source program called Gimp that is well worth looking into.

Other than that, eBay is the only place that comes to mind...you could get an older version and save some $$$

Forget Adobe for the time being. Type in Google Earth and take the free download for Picasa2, Very user friendly. Then you s
hould be able to find a free download on the interenet or at any Public Library for Arc Soft Photo Studio Version 5.5 which is as good as Adobe (for free).

You can get an educational version at about 60% off from the regular price. It will only cost you a finger.
