You should use a comb, beacuse the teething in the brush are more prone to pull your hair out when it is wet. Since the combs teeth have more spacing it is less prone to pull any of your hair out. When your hair is wet it is at a very weak state, due to porosity.....You can try a paddle brush, I use this brush in the salon on wet hair or a Demi Brush

Wet hair is more fragile than dry hair, and a brush could cause breakage. A wide tooth comb is the most gentle thing to use.

brushes will cause the hair to break and split more easily, and wet hair is much more fragile. Use a wide tooth comb, dry it & then brush away

If you use a comb and comb the tips of the hair first, then closer to the scalp as you release all the knots, then this should help to not create so many split ends. Hair is more susceptable to breakage when it is wet.
A comb is just easier on your hair.

you want to use a wide-tooth comb to minimize damage on your hair because wet hair breaks easily.
