IMO: You have a gross misapprehension about martial arts.
Although rank is used to indicate a degree of competence, the only person you are REALLY competing with is YOURSELF!

I agree with bluto here, you need to better state your point here.
"more intelligent"? what do you mean by this?
to be the first person in class, show up at least 15 minutes early before class.
if you're talking about being the best student or star pupil then I suggest you focus on your training with a serious mind and intensity.

It's been a long time since I checked questions in this section.
I see they aren't getting any better , love the answer Bluto gave though.
I have a student who is always the first one in class , he does this by arriving early , sometimes even before me.
If you did mean "Fist" , punch your teacher in the head.

I wasn't aware that martial arts schools rated fists.
the way to be the First one in class is to simply show up early like with anything else.
And I strongly suggest you see someone about dyslexia.

know your goal, and never stop striving for its achievement. dont stop to smell flowers, keep going! eventually you will get there, and if not, at least you didnt accept last place as an option.
in life, you really need to be honest to yourself. once you start making excuses, you let yourself down, and only you fail yourself.
focus, study, achieve. (easier said than done!)
