It's not a bad thing. I have a friend who's parents are 12 years apart.

Like which way six years younger putting him before 18 or six years younger over 18. there's Nothing wrong with it. I have been married for 14 years this June/ 3 beautiful children and a wonderful marriage. You have to be willing to make the change also. Not going to bars, or anything that is 21years to get in. Different ages is fun. 6 years is is fine..Just enjoy each other, and if it doesnt work out it's not because of the age it just wasn't meant to be.

That would all depend on the ages. If a guy is 20 he wouldn't want to date a 14 year old, but if he's 30 he would date a 24 year old. If he's 24 and she's 18 it's kind of maybe, but at least she's legal age.

Age tends to matter the younger you are. As you get older it doesn't seem to matter as much. It's much more of a maturity thing. How much does a 18 y/o have in common with 25 y/o? but a 30 y/o and 37 y/o are much more on the same level

The rule is that you can date someone half your age plus 7. So if you are 20, it's ok to date a 17 year old. If you are 30, 22 is ok.

At my current age, no. I am only 20 and dating a 14-year-old is one, not my style, and two, I really don't feel like going to jail. If I were older then possibly. There is a twelve-year difference in age between my mother and father and my fiance is five years older then me and I couldn't be happier.

If i was a guy that would be a totally different story. But im a girl and thats more different, i prefer guys older, not younger or my age.
btw, my bf is 24...im 17.

Mos definitely, if the both of us were over 18. 6 years is not much of an age gap.

No, I am 17 :)
But it's different from being 20 and dating a 26 yr old eh?
