When my girlfriend dumped me, my mates said there were plenty more fish in the sea.
However, when I watched the news the other night, the reporter said that stocks were at an all time low and that quotas were being introduced.
Who is right?

Not to worry folks....my girlfriend took me back and we had fish and chips. Of course the cod was caught in international waters, but unfortunately it was the last of its species.

well its either a fish, a cat, or a llama. probably a cat because there more up for cuddles and just chillin in bed with you all day. a fish you would have to go diving with and stuff, which would probably be rubbish. and the term "you kiss like a fish" isn't a compliment so... i wouldn't really want to kiss someone who kisses a fish, let alone kiss a fish itself. and the llama would just mope around in a field all day, which i could imagine would be boring. so yeah im guna have to go with the cat, its cuddlier, it smiles when you stroke it, and it looks embarrassed when it has to poo in front of people. yeah definitely cat :)

Your friend is right. There are plenty more fish in the sea. But they school in packs so its hard to tell who's available... and some are sharks so be careful. And few others are real Oysters. Fight for the pearl, man. (the beauty within is what i was going for but it sunded dirty when i read it back to myself) but of course I decided to leave it. I'm being supportive of your maleness.

Look its no need for you to listen your friend or news. You have to believe youself. If you want a lady, then you will have to believe that she is somewhere out there and all you have to keep meeting new people until you got her by fish way. For example, a guy on the boat, he been waiting for long time to get a fish and he got it. So give it time for you to wait but don't lay back, just keep meet people. News, who cares about them, they are just news to inform people whats going on out there, thats all. It has nothing with you. Don't be scared.

Ok mate, that put a smile on my face, so I'll try to help out.
Yes there are a lot of single girls out there....... but..... there is a problem. Many of them are ugly and fat. And if they are pretty.... well theres only a few reasons that they are single.
The hard part is finding one that is pretty and has a good personality. that is where that saying falls pretty short. It ignores that part. I wish ya luck mate, and happy huntin.
Though one night flings shouldnt be too hard to pull off ;-)

Possibly the worst phrase ever invented. Think the reporter fella was right cause it took me years of fishing to catch one that i wouldnt throw straight back in.

I don't understand why you have made the remark about stock's and women being grouped together. But just take your time and the right girl will come along.

Single men are in demand...far more single women than men. So listen to your mates and enjoy the fishing!
