Er...I thought we all did have our own personal beliefs. People (apart from those born into closed religious systems like Islam which are tricky to get out of) in the western world only generally join "multi-national religions" because they match their beliefs. There are also plenty I have met who don't join any religion because none of them do match their beliefs. Thankfully we have the freedom to so this in the West - can't say the same for other parts of the world....

Isn't that what most people are doing today? People say that America is a mostly Christian nation, but I don't see it. America isn't just a melting pot for culture, it is for religion too. I just think people should be searching for the right one, there's got to be a right one somewhere, and I don't think there can be more than one correct belief system, because they all disagree too much. I'm not saying my belief system is perfect, I'm still searching for answers. What do you think? Thanks for reading, God bless!

Of course we should have own beliefs, instead of following. For example, when i was young most of the people surround me are christian. I wish i am christian too. But my mum doesnt like it and warn me not to join. Until i was 18,i doesnt feel i should join christian, while i believe in everyone they already have a God in their heart once they bring to the world. Everything depends on how we work it out. Not just pray from 1st day till you died. Correct.?

We do have our own, that's why we are America. Our own beliefs is the whole point to being an American. We are not forced to believe any one religion but one of our own choosing and that's one of the things that most pisses off the Islamic clerics. The more radical ones want a world of Islamic religion.

I choose to fight for my freedom to choose what ever religion I want.

We already do. If you really listen to members of these "multinational religions" (listen not talk) you will find out that every single person has a different idea of the God they worship, and a different way to worship. God knew this when he created us all individuals. "Religions" or denominations are just groups of like-minded people who enjoy fellowship and worship God in the same approximate way. Ask any 10 members of any one congregation and you will get 10 different takes on God and worship and their basic beliefs.
So you see, it's already happened.

We all do have our own personal beliefs...including those of us who follow a "big" religion.

No two people who believe in Jesus believe in him for exactly the same reasons or believe the exact same things about him.
