When you throw up, does your body only reject what is too much or..?

if you throw up will your body have used the nutritients from the food?

like if you throw up 30 min after eating?

How many nutrients you retain depends on how much time has lapsed between the time you consumed the food and when you throw up. As far as how much you throw up - that depends on the reason. Vomiting can range from a small amount due to a brief stomach upset to progressing to "dry heaves" over a period of several hours as when you have the flu.

different foods take different times to digest so you body will have gotten some of the nutrients. however throwing up 30 minutes after eating all the time will cause you lots of other health problems and sometimes when you start that habit you have no control the body developes and automatic gag reflex. protein is usually digested slower so if the body does not get enough it starts breaking down and using its own muscle. that's why anorexics look like they have nothing to them and the heart is a muscle. let alone what the acid in your stomach will do to your throat and teeth. so no it will not have used up all the nutrients it needs

Food has to go through your digestive system in order to extract the nutrients your body needs. When you throw up, you're vastly depriving your body of what it needs to stay alive. It hasn't had time to absorb the nutrients. It's not a healthy way to live. Eat a healthy diet, maintain portion control and exercise. That's the best way.
