You can ussually find a place to take them for the day.
Typical Cost:
$10 per dog/day
$8 per cat/day
You can get a discount for multiple pets.
To have someone come to your home you would pay even more.

Depends on the person. I use to know someone who still does it. It doesn't matter if its a small dog or a large dog. For dog it ranges from $45.00 -$55.00. And for cats is $25.00 - $35.00. It all depends on the person. And some pet sitter's will actually house sit as well if you want them to stay a few nights with them but i'm sure that is the higher end.
Of course you got to remember you are paying for Personal attentionn to your Pet's what you don't get to much of when they are at the Kennel. And it maybe the same price at the Kennel anyways but the Pet Sitter's pay more attention to your pet's then the Kennel's. Plus the pet's get the luxury of staying at there own home.
The benefits of a Pet sitter is that they won't have to sit in the pound and they will be in there own home as you already know. It seems that some of the people here are against it. But I am all for Pet Sitter's.

I would think to be exact 100-200 dollars daily to pay to the pet-sitter.

I used to pay £10 a visit for 5 cats (morning and night visits) if that helps - to feed the cats and spend time with them.

Take your animals to a pet sitting company, where they offer Doggy Day Care.

It depends where you live but it wont be cheap with that many pets. Lots of petsitters have websites, google "petsitters in
