Okay - ease back into your routine. If you find that the 6am run isn't for you anymore, how about a 5pm run? The duration of the exercise is more important than the time of day.
You know what to do. You know you need to exercise and eat healthy. Just do it! Get together a support system to help you on those days that you don't want to do it, and lean on them when times get tough. Focus on what your life will be like when you have lost the weight, and cling to that when that little voice in your head says "I don't want to."

"Diets" are overrated! You find a great "diet" and loose all this weight only to go back to your old way of doing things and gainging back what you lost plus some more. Eating junk food and laying around not doing anything. I suggest changing your lifestyle. Try eating better by adding more fresh veggies and fruit to your meals and snacks. Eating leaner meats (boneless, skinless chicken, fish,). And drink lots and lots and lots of water. Some form of exercise at least three times a week. Even if its just turning up the music at the house and dancing for 30 min. I would not stress about it just do it. Once you start drinking the water every day then you will start feeling better. You will have energy and wonder where it is coming from.

losing weight too fast can actually be worse for you. You should probably only lose 5 lbs the first week then 2 lbs every week after. Drink alot of water be active and eat healy small portions 3-5 times a day. If you need a extra boost check out the following site ; http://applepatchdiet.com/wk13936......

It's all about wanting it and discplining yourself. Tweawk your diet and start working out a few times a week. The thing is though, you have to REALLY want to do it. Because hitting the snooze button day after day isn't going to get you anywhere. Or try to work out later at night (which is what I do. After work) :)

40 is not a small number, but if you are seriously wanna lose weight and lose it healthily and i recommend you go to gym where there is proper teachers and instructors set up wiehgt loss program and routine for you.
but if you wanna lose weight on your own,
I recommend running.
because it burns the most calories among all the sport and it doesn't cost anything
