You probably got it from someone that had a POS beagle and POS pug and thats what you got.

Did you research either breed before getting it? Did you think that if they had two GOOD dogs they would mix breeds??

Crate training and constant supervision. Tie that puppies leash to your belt and literally make her your shadow. All dogs will do a dance, or something before they go to the bathroom. She may start sniffing the ground, circling, just standing there looking at you in a particular way (mine does). If she is with you ALL THE TIME you will become much more aware of those signals, and shes already on a leash, so you just have to get her outside. When she does eliminate outside, throw a party. "Whoooo hoooo!! Good girl!!! Excellent job!!" Your neighbors may thing youre being a little silly, but the dog will catch on that much faster. Also, when you arent home or sleeping, she should be in the crate. Dogs dont go in their crate if it is the appropriate size for them. Check out a few books at Borders. The Complete Idiots Guides and Dummies guides are very user friendly, beginner friendly training books. They are all written in laymans terms, and tend to stay away from the more philisophical end of the training and just stick with the stuff that you really need. Good luck!!

There is no magic spell except being patient and consistent. There are several techniques on training on the internet- look them up, print them out, and follow them.
