I have a tattoo on my lower back, that everyone tells me looks fine, but i just don't like it. I did when I got it, but the picture doesn't seem to fit where it is. I'm not sure what is wrong with it, I just don't liek it anymore. And I don't want teh scares of having it removed, so I thought maybe I could just fix it (but not a cover up). I am not artistically inclined enough to try and fix this and when I go to a parlor, they want me to tell them how to fix it. I'm not sure, I just want some ideas. Can someone help me? I can email you a picture of it on my back to hear your ideas? Or maybe, please, draw me up something. I would really love that. Please, help.

I have a tattoo and the artist told me that at anytime if I am unsatisfied to come back to him and we would see what we could do about the issue. Tattoo artists can give you ideas about how to do it and what exactly they would be able to do. It's your money your spending so take your time and check into it. If your not happy now make sure your gonna be happy with what you want it covered with. If you would like my e-mail is posted on profile and I might be able to help you figure out what you might be able to cover or add to it. Good Luck!

if they talk like that they are worthless and no one should get a tattoo from shops like this a half decent tattoo artist will ask what you are into try to pick ur brain for a min and then throw out a few ideas and maybe draw a lil bit on you if you want it fixed find a good artist that will work with you pay them to draw a few different things on you but make sure its something you like and will want in 20 more years just like you changed ur mind in a few months make sure you will like the design later ,tattoos are permanent and laser work isnt worth a penny it scars you like crazy

If you find a very confident tattoo artist and explain to him you dont know how to fix it but that you want it fixed, most of the time they can give ideas on how and what you could do.

The tattoo artists you go to want you to tell them how to fix it? Hmmm, if they were worth their salt, they would be giving YOU options on how they could fix it for you. I go to a respectable tattoo artist who not only throws down ink but owns the shop. If you want to email me the pic, I can try and send him the pic to see what he thinks. It's your choice.

it's hard to give ideas without knowing what it looks like
you could perhaps have an artist add something to give it a different appearance
or perhaps, laser removal would be appropriate as i understand it does very well but i'm not sure about the cost

A good tattoo artist should at least be willing to throw out ideas to you. That is part of their job. If you ask me, you should try another studio.

Your best bet is to go to a respectiable tatoo artist and let them take a look at it. They maybe able to tatoo over or add to it, so that it's pleasant for you! Most will tell you it's hard to correct another's art work, but most are willing to take the challenge on.
