my father died in the army whilst on exercise and i was too young to go to the inquest is there a way i can get hold of the information to find out what was said, without involving other family members.

i live in the uk and he died in germany

get a solicitor to apply for it from m.o.d.

you could contact man and records based at the cattirck garrison
better if you went to an acio office army carriers information office they might be able to tell you how to get in touch with cattrick garrison

Try contacting the office of the rpovost
marshall.Should be somewhere on net.You could also try ringing your local H.M. coroners office who should be able to assist you

you could simply write to the office that held the inquest. or if they are not forthcoming try a freedom of information request.
