Depends on how nervous you are. If you're sweating and smacking your forehead, yes, that is a turn off.

However, I don't think being slightly nervous is a turn off. I actually find a bit of a turn on when it's visible that the guy I'm talking to is slightly nervous. It means he's interested in me or else he would have no reason to be nervous. Since someone being interested in you is flattering, why would being nervous while talking to your crush be a turn off?

So, don't worry if you stutter at a word or two. It's all good!

Edit:

For the people said that being confident is sexy, that's exactly the point. Talking to someone you like despite the fact that you know you will be nervous takes considerable confidence. And that's why it's not a turn off.

Besides, if you try and act cool when you're anything but, it's going to be very hard to hide it. Trying to be something you're not is the real turn off.

Being a girl if a guy is nervous to where he is sweating and so serious. Turn off. Just be happy laugh and smile and let things go with the flow. Laughing and being in a good mood is so much better than a serious mood. It will all work out! Be you!

well, im a girl and confidence is only one part of it. My boyfriend gets nervous on the phone whenever he sings to me! But, it's okay to be nervous a little bit, because otherwise, your girlfriend will think that you are trying to be a show-off, so don't be afraid to be a little scared!!!

I don't know your age, so I have to guess. First thing a woman looks into a man is his "Confidence". Why you are nervous? Unless of course you have some guilt conscious. Be honest to yourself, rest will come automatically [including a girl].

Girls go for confidence. What ever happens, just keep your cool and pretend like you planned it. Doesn't mean you have to lie and act cocky, but don't be openly worried.
