Yes the Bible does say that. But some people like the Jews will go to Heaven even if they aren't CHristians because they are Gods chosen people. Some people think that good works will take them to HEaven. But that is not what the Bible say. Study the Bible. It never fails you.

If the Bible tells you that then it's true. The Bible says if you believe in in Jesus you are saved and if you don't you are dead already. "I am the truth, the light, the way no one goes to the Father except by me", another quote saying you should believe in Jesus or else you are not saved.

I'm a Christian, too, and I know that Jesus said that, according to the Gospel. "Narrow is the gate," and all that.

He also said, "But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Be not therefore anxious for the morrow." (Matt.6.)

I believe that those who seek Our Father's kingdom do so through love, kindness, compassion, and it doesn't matter whether they call themselves Christian. I don't presume to know Our Father's intent, but I take it to heart when Jesus gives us the Lord's Prayer, which I think is one of the most graceful and eloquent meditations between Our Father and us.

Therefore, I don't worry about the "salvation" of others. That's Our Father's decision; I just concern myself with respecting others while I walk this earth.

Good luck.

"Saved" is a vague term.

My Bible, in revelations, tells me only those who don't have the mark of the Beast will stay with God, all others get cast out.

The mark of the Beast is a fale prophet. That could be anyone from Osma to Billy Graham.

Everyone out there from Jerry Falwell to the Pope is saying "they know what JEsus is about and you better listen up!"

The moment you align yourself and give allegence you have given your soul to them instead of to God and Jesus.

All people are accountable to God whether they have “heard about Him” or not. The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). Apart from God's grace, God would give us over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. This He does for those who reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).
In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle: everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.
The problem is, “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in their own heart, and instead decide to worship a “god” of their own creation. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell who never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel of Christ. People are responsible to God for what God has already revealed to them. The Bible says that people reject this knowledge, and therefore God is just in condemning them to hell.
Instead of debating the fate of those who have never heard, we, as Christians, should be doing our best to make sure that they hear. We are called to spread the Gospel throughout the nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). The fact that we know people reject the knowledge of God revealed in nature must motivate us to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only through accepting the Gospel of God’s grace through the Lord Jesus Christ can people be saved from their sins and rescued from an eternity apart from God in hell.
If we assume that those who never hear the Gospel are granted mercy from God, we will run into a terrible problem. If people who never hear the Gospel are saved…we should make sure that no one ever hears the Gospel. The worst thing we could do would be share the Gospel with a person and have him or her reject it. If that were to happen, he or she would be condemned. People who do not hear the Gospel must be condemned, or else there is no motive for evangelism. Why run the risk of people possibly rejecting the Gospel and condemning themselves – when they were previously saved because they had never heard the Gospel?

AMEN to that. More precisely, only the born again will see the Kingdom of God (John 3:3)

Added note: many people seem to think good works will save you, being a good person. Please read Ephesians 2:8-10 where in a nutshell it says Salvation is a GIFT from God. You CANNOT EARN a GIFT. All you need to do is accept it.

I wonder why you place so much reliance on the Bible. It would be interesting to learn what it is about the Bible that makes people put so much faith in it.

I think that this is a lie that religion tells about God.

I was raised catholic. In the third grade when they told me that all of the hypocrites I went to church with were going to heaven and all the good people who did not believe in my version of the religious popular fantasy were going to hell, I realised that either God was an idiot or they were telling me lies about God.

After careful deliberation I concluded that God was probably not an idiot.

The only way into heaven is through jesus christ. This verse is the classic answer to that

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6)

Basically jesus said that no one gets into heaven unless they accept him. This means jews as well. The only way to heaven is via jesus. end of.
