Im having huge problem wth my hair. I hv long black hair upto my elbow but it' wavy n bit curly. Everyday my hair is falling in huge amount. It's dry n rough n hard 2 comb bcoz of tangles. I dnt use oil at all, coz i hate it. I shampoo my hair once a week. bcoz the when i shampoo my hair, instead of being smooth n silk it gets twice bigger than my head. Becomes more frizzy n curly. Then Slowly slowly day by day it reduces in volume n then follow th same routine.I hv no dandruffs. It's nt shiny. Its unmanagable.

Use dove shampoo and Dove hair silk conditioner.Comb the conditioner through your hair and wrap your hair in a warm towel ,then rinse your hair very well, the last rinse should be cold water, drink plenty of milk for calcium. There are certain times of the year when hair is shed .

Everyone sheds at least 1000 hairs a day...that's normal...learned that in Cosmetology School...When I get alot of breakage be it the season, stress or just dryness..there is a product call Emergencee by Nexus, it runs about $15 for a small bottle which is supposed to be 4 treatment but my hair is pretty long so it actually ends up being 2 (it feels gross to the touch kinda slimy)...but well worth it) but I think the instructions say leave on 10 minutes...I do 40 min with a plastic cap, then wrap in a towel to hold in the heat...if you sit under a dryer you can reduce the time to 20 min...you will notice a reduction in breakage after the first treatment...one you rinse the conditioner out you then need to apply a great moisturizing conditioner...I prefer (patene-red label for curly hair) leave that on for another 20 if you have the time...I promise this will work wonders...you can purchase Emergencee at Ulta Cosmetics and sometimes at Eckerd Pharmacy. Oh yeah you can also get the Pantene at the mentioned stores as well...good luck

I was having the same problem as you. My hair is very long, very thick, and slightly wavy and was getting so frizzy and tangled all of the time that it was driving me crazy.

First of all, there is a possibility that the dry heat in your house may be contributing to the frizziness of your hair especially when you sleep if you have a heater near your bed. You may want to rearrange your bed and/ or invest in a humidifyer.

Your hair may be shiny, but if it is getting tangled so easily that means it is at least slightly damaged and needs a regular form of maintenance. Don't just use anything though, there are plenty of items on the market that will just make the problem worse. I have found that Garnier Fructis for permed/color-treated hair works very well and so does Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions for permed or color-treated hair. Your hair might need a treatment as well. This is going to sound gross but I promise you it works. Get some Cain's mayonaise and completely saturate your hair in it. Then pile all of the hair on top of your head, pull out a few feet of saran wrap and wrap that around your head to keep it in place. Wrap head in a towel (preferably hot) and let it do it's thing for at least thirty minutes. Remove wrappings, wash hair with a gentle shampoo and you will be amazed with the results!

Good luck!

You should wash your hair every other day, rather than just once a week. It sounds like your hair is dry, thats why after a few days of not washing, it appears sleek and shiny, it gets a build-up of oil in it. There are many products out that can help your hair. Try a product that sleeks and shines, once you get your hair properly moisturized, then you will have less problems taming the frizz and curls.

Wash your hair every other day with a shampoo for dry hair. You can also use the hot oil treatments from Alberta VO5.

If your hair is that unmanageable perhaps you need to go to a good stylist and perhaps get it cut into a differnt style.

GO TO A SALOON OR HAIR SPECIALIST, THEY WILL LOOK AT YOUR HAIR , TEST IT WITH THEIR CREAMS/OILS AND RECOMMEND WHAT IS BEST. REVLON PRODUCTS MAY WORK FOR ME BUT MAY NOT BE GOOD FOR YOU SO SEE AN EXPERT IN THIS FIELD AND GOOD LUCK.
