We close our eyes so that our sensory perception can focus on our internal feelings and the pleasure of our mouths touching, etc. The brain can focus on only one input at a time. The visual component would distract from the touch sensation of the kiss.

Probably into it. I close my eyes when I kiss my girlfriend because I think of it as a compliment. It signals to her that its just you and me baby and nobody or nothing can distract me. I love the way she kisses and I close my eyes so that I can remember every moment. I wish I felt this way about my wife.

I believe that when people first start learning to kiss they close their eyes because it is awkward to look at the other person. After they experienced it, I think they continue to close their eyes because it transports them to a different place.
