I did ask him out to the Movies awhile ago.
He didn't run away, he actually invited me for coffee, and we had a fun time together.
When I was studying with him another day, he really asked sincerely what I was doing for Winter Break, and when he was asking, his voice was really a little nervous, like he wanted to tell me something.
Also... when we communicate, he always stares into my eyes. He has given me rides back to my home on various occasion. He always doesn't mind studying with me and such.
Does he like me or what?

Ask him. He says he likes you. Case closed. You are done. But, fearing rejection, can you even do that? If only things were so simple. I'll tell you this. Just ask him. This will save you a lot of time. If he says no, then you can understand that he doesn't and may not even after knowing you for a bit of time. Therefore, it will be him who regrets later on when he falls for you in return, granted you guys will hang out and stuff... Maybe not, since if he does reject you, it will be too embarassing... So what you can do is this....
"Do you like me?"
"No."
"I knew it! I don't like you either." Haha!
"Do you like me?"
"Yes, as a friend."
"Me too. I was worried because I thought you didn't like me as a friend..." Saved!
If he says he likes you in a way that he likes you likes you and not as friend, then you've just scored yourself your dream guy.

It appears that he's interested in at least getting to know you better. What you need to do, if YOU'RE interested in developing a friendship/relationship with HIM, is to try to get him to feel more comfortable and at ease with you. This does NOT mean that you have to behave in a forward manner and jump him or anything. It just means that you joke around with him more....maybe confide in him about something, and try to get him to talk about himself more. It's important that you allow him to know that you're interested in him too....to do this you can ask him questions about himself and the things he's interested in...then genuinely LISTEN to him....There's no rush....take it slow. He's evidently shy and isn't accustomed to moving fast. It really IS more important to establish a good, solid friendship first, anyway, especially if you want it to become something more serious down the road!

Sounds to me as though he is interested...though a little insecure.
If you are interested...give him a break. You take the first step again...open the lines of communication. Take a risk (as the guys traditionally do), and tell him you like him. Life is too short to be guessing and wasting time.
