A staged kidnapping will result in a full fledged response from police like it was a real one. When you are found you will be charged with something like public mischief (here in Canada). This will also waste a huge amount of police time as they will pull units off any calls they are currently taking to respond to this. No harm to anyone? Think again, pick a new prank.

Well we just saw in Boston what a prank will get you. Everyone will go overboard and think it's a terrorist threat and you'll probably be arrested, as stupid as I think it is. Hey, if the gov't can have all kinds of fun using scare tatics ( ie: all the BS that recently went on in the Miami port, etc, etc etc) to keep the "terrorist" thing going, why can't we? But to answer your question, you should probably reconsider the idea if you have to ask.

Dear Aznfreaks,

I don't know about the police but I do know about life from experience.

My advice is do good things rather than pranks.
Pranks will come back to haunt you 20 or 40 or 60 years from now.
Blessings will come back to bless you over and over and over.

Choose well your path in life because the rut you choose will determine the course of your life.

Just because you use *67 only means the caller won't get the number the phone company's computer will know what phone you called from. And if they decide to make a case of it they have all the lawyers who can and will make your life miserable.

I do not think it is a good idea to play a prank on someone,
that could end up with you getting a record, do you ????

Sometimes a prank gets taken seriously and then there
can be all sorts of things which happen from then...............

You could end up in jail if what you do causes real harm
to someone, think about it and do not do this...........................
the Police have a lot to do, other than sort out pranksters.......

I think the police might do you for public disturbance. Public productions make pick-pockets lives a lot easier.

You can be charged for Public Mischief. Normally comes with a heavy fine or parole. Think twice about what you are doing

you need not to worry about the cops as long the "victim" doesn't sue you for your pranks. if it's going a bit to far the people watching or involved still can be disturbed and will sue you.
be sure it is safe and not offend anyone, okay?

Arrest you, charge you with a false report of a crime, and if any law enforcement or search team was involved you may have pay restitution for their time and services.
