They are simply implying that a lot of muslims are on benefits. This is blatant islamaphobia and only leads to hatred of muslim and should be removed. What about white people taking benefits? where is this statistic?

Last year I had to make an intensive study of the ONS census findings and what you state above is NOTHING compared to the HARD EVIDENCE about UK Muslims from the ONS - especially Bangladeshi and Pakistani Muslims. I was utterly SHOCKED by how much the Muslim portion of the Brit population drains resources compared with other groups. My personal views changed very much indeed after studying these FACTS from the ONS and I would absolutely recommend everyone to take a proper look at them so they have real evidence to counter accusations of "Islamaphobia". The ONS site is free to use for anyone and anyone can access the figures which are all based on the latest UK Census.
An 'answer' above states that only 7% of the UK population are Muslim, however the problem is that certain areas and towns have up to a 70% population of 'minorities' such as some London boroughs and in the Midlands (see ONS stats). These areas are horrendous places to live, or even to travel through, and they are the poorest and most run down - go figure!

If it is racist to state Muslims are lazy social drain on society would it not also be racist to say white British people are a burden on are national health system.
PC bolloxks need to stop and just look at the problem who cares what colour your skin is, everybody should try finding a job no matter what!

The point is the comparison between the two communities. The muslim community is, perhaps, the fastest growing in the UK and, as with muslim cultures throughout the world, are apathetic to economic development beyond subsistance. When the welfare state can provide that level of economy, the muslims, in large part, figure 'why bust my sorry islamic *** to make a living when the infidel government will take care of me anyway'

Firstly are you suggesting there are no white muslims?
Secondly, like it or not but Britain is a white country and whilst there may be a large number of white people on benefits (i dont know the stats) I would point out that it is the white population that pays for muslim benefits.
Statistics are statistics, like them or not... i can see the word 'islamophobia' becoming the new 'rascist' - completely misused and watered down by people like yourself.

Well said. I am a Muslim and both my husband and myself are hard working tax payers my boss is Muslim also and every Muslim i know has a job. I can honestly say i dont know one Muslim on benefits. Where i work thought there are plenty of non Muslim chavs with 6 kids each getting my tax money to pay there rent, buy there cigarettes and alcohol, get taxi's from tescos with 12 bags of shopping, get there council tax paid. I know this statistic is one they are not ready to show, but just look at all the council estates they are full of non Muslim dole spongers. It infuriates me. But that is what the government wants to make people see Muslims in an ever increasing bad light. Shame on this government.

Figures can say what ever you want them to say !!! only 7% of ethnic minorities in UK (including Irish,Americans being more than Bangladeshi!!)
Like you I would like to see what the stats are for the ethnic majority(Whatever that could be!!!)
