to make you feel better. Cuz we dont want you to try and be what we "want". We can still like you even though your not the "type" of guy we usually like.

What makes you say this honey?

Both men and women have this big old fantasy in their heads about "what they want". That's why there is such a thing called "dateing". We may for instance be attracted to a "face". But it doesn't mean that face fills the fantasy in which we all hold to what we want.

We all could "think" we have found the "kind" we want, but it doesn't mean once we "think" we have found them, that all our fantasies were at tip top shape. Make any sense?

A woamn per say could say she's looking for a cowboy, that wears the tight blue jeans, boots and hat. And this cowboy must be the best dancer on the floor. Good looking and great in bed.

WELL.............she may get all the above "except" for the great in bed!!! That my dear, will make her fantasies change in what she wants.

The kind of guy a girl wants is far different from the guy she needs and to further confuse the deal she must settle for the guy she gets.

This results because guys want a different girl than they need and think they are doing a favor for the girl they get.

If we lie, it's just to keep some sanity!

Two reasons. (1) They're embarrassed to say that they only want sex and money, or (2) they don't really know what they want. When I was in college, I dated a guy who fit all the requirements of what I thought was the perfect guy. He turned into a psycho and I had to get a restraining order, and I quickly changed my mind about what kind of guy I wanted. It takes experience to figure out what you really want - most women don't lie about it intentionally.

They are not lying. What they say they want is not the same thing as what they really need. Basically, women do not know what they want because, on the one hand, they will say that they want a nive guy, but on the other hand, they are attracted to the bad boys becauseof the adventure and challenges that they bring.

The bottom line is htat they want the bad boy for a short fling, but want the nice guy for the real thing (as in long-term relationship).

Finding women who know what it is they want and need, is not easy, but keep on trying.

If you feel its a lie then its probably not YOUR description so get the hint if a woman tell you what kind of man they want they do describe what they want so instead of hurting YOUR feelings they are actually telling the truth in a nice way.

They are unsure that what exactly they want on the men before they say and after meeting the guy they will evaluate and criticize about their behaviors. LoL... JK Sorry if other readers are offended!

Because our brains tell us one thing but instinct wants something different.

because they like to make it look like they aren't nearly as shallow as men, when in truth they are, but worse since they lie about it so much
