Being in the military myself.... First of all the drivers with military sponsorships (Mark Martin,Tony Scumacher and the likes of them) ARE NOT serving in the service in any means. The team they drive for simply has a marketing agreement with that branch of the service justy like any other sponsor in NASCAR, secondly several of the drivers from the 40's and 50's were war veterans.

Its between Dale Sr. and Jeff Gordon. Now i'm a extensive Sr. fan. yet to procure to grant credit the place its due. Jeff got here in and took over from Earnhardt like the way Earnhardt got here in and took over for Petty. He carried the sport into the recent era. the two very gifted and the two super wheel adult adult males. Now Jeff possibly the 2nd incredible driving force ever, yet he ain't at the back of Petty. He may be at the back of Earnhardt. yet it incredibly is a dash bias pondering I in basic terms observed Petty specifically on the tip of his occupation. additionally you are able to not evaluate drivers from different generations. @rick- That substitute into properly suggested.

I don't think so, but I would love to drive for someone when I get out of the military! I grew up in NC watching NASCAR, and wouldn't hesitate at the chance to drive at that level!!

I don't know, .....but....could you say Joe Nemecheck is serving now because he has an Army car?
I know it's not for real but he sure does look militant in his racing uniform.
