with our 1st valentine's day approching i am really confused on how to let the man in my life know that i love him alot. i dont know if i shud buy him something or take him out as he does not like it when i spend money on him! please help!!!!

i know what ur talking bout cuz my man is the same way but what u need to do is get him somethingh personalized. something that when he sees it he know that ur feeling are in it, that it wasnt something u just picked up off the rack...rent movies,cuddle, have a couple laughs..to have a good time with the one u love doesnt necessarily means spending alot money..

You shouldn't just treat him special on Valentines Day but always..here are some of my tips...
Communicate (talk) with him, be open with him, about anything and everything.
Trust him in every way. Whether it's about cheating or confidentiality.
Always be honest with him. Never ever lie to him or keep secrets from him.
Support him through thick and thin. Just be there for him in any way you can.
Respect him. Don't hurt or abuse or neglect him in any way.
Make time for him & make him a priority in your life.
Also make time for friends, family, school, work, chores, time for yourself, etc.
Apologize, forgive, and make amends frequently.
Plan, pay for, and take him out on a date sometimes.
Don't share anything that you two do or say with each other to anyone!
Kiss him, hug him, hold his hand, cuddle (etc.) with him but don't go overboard.
Don't copy other's relationships. Remember that every relationship is different.
Remember that men are not always very emotional creatures.
Let him know that you love him, that you're always there for him.
Don't run away when there are problems. Stick around and really try to fix them; problems are just a bump in the road, it gives you the best opportunity to show your partner how much you love him.

First off you do not have to wait until Valentine to show you love him. If he don't feel you love him now then what difference will Valentine make? So show your love daily if its just telling him you love him and doing small things that he consider big in his eyes. Suggestions for Valentine is try cooking if you know how prepare his favorite meal, buy an outfit if you like, make out your own card or a poem write one from the heart. It is common for a man to dislike if his woman have to pay.
