MOUNT THEM AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN TO YOUR MIDS. THE BEST PLACE FOR BOTH USE TO BE IN THE LOWER KICK PANEL. THINGS MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE I'VE BEEN CAR STEREO.IF YOU WANT REALLY STRONG FRONT STAGE GET RID OF YOUR REAR FILL OR RUN THE BALANCE TOWARDS THE FRONT.

You want to mount them at ear level. Usually in the front pillars, a few inches above the dash. If it isn't exactly at ear level, it will be ok, if they mount to the surface, they usually come with a different mount with an angle so you can "aim" them. You can easily run the wires and hide them, wether it is going to an amp in your trunk, or splicing them into the front channel speakers. You can even run them directly to the head unit to splice them into the front channel wires. GL, I added some tweeters on my old car and it definately increased the sound quality. There are sounds you never knew were in your favorite song, that you will hear perfectly clear once adding tweeters.

sumtyms there is place in the door handles to position the tweeters...but if there isnt,go to the back of your car and open the boot,go and sit at either of the two windows and say u sat at the left window, where the door opens,by your ear, there is that padding-like cover..you could place them over there with sum strong glue..bt whatever you do,dont put them somewhere where the sun can get them cos they will melt!!!!!
