I was one of those girls. I got pregnant at the age of 17 and had my baby when i turned 18. I will tell you what i do not regret either one of my girls but i wish i would have waited on having them till i was at least 26. Because we think we know ourselves as teenagers but the truth is we don't.

I am 28 and had my first child at 26. I have known many girls pregnant at a VERY young age. I don't understand why it is so hard for them to prevent it. I have been with my husband since I was 15 and we never had any accidents. We didn't get pregnant until we were actually trying too. We are now ttc #2 but no accidents here. I know that everyone is different but I just wish these girls would look at the big picture. There is alot that goes into being a mother. That boy that loves you SO much won't be there when you have a baby.
My niece is in the 7th grade and there have been 2 babies born to 8th grades at her school this year and a 6th grader thinks she is pregnant now. I just want to know where their parents are?

Well I'm 18 and pregnant right now and I'm due after I turn 19. The weird thing is my baby is due the same month I was born. But I have seen a lot of girls this year who are under 18 that are pregnant. Last year I saw girls over 18 that were pregnant. Some just don't know how to watch out.

Thank goodness, none. I just had my first 2 1/2 months ago, and I was 27 when she was born. (Turned 28 a couple weeks ago! lol) I'm glad that I waited until I was married and a bit older to have a child. However, my biological mother was 14 when she got pregnant with me, and obviously had to put me up for adoption. I just think that it's harder for younger girls because they don't get to experience everything in life, and it's twice as hard if they go it alone. Seriously though, with all the birth control methods out there, I just can't for the life of me understand why girls get pregnant before they're ready. And not having money isn't an excuse anymore either. There's so many clinics out there that will supply free birth control to girls with low income or no income at all. And if they're aren't on birth control, why can't they just keep their pants up if they don't want children or can't support children? I know that probably sounds terrible, but I just don't understand it. I hope that when the time comes, my daughter is as smart about having children at the right time as I was. Forgive me if this answer seems condescending, it's just my opinion.

Theres alot of girls out there that want to get pregnant, i don't understand it. My friends little sister just ha d baby about 6 months ago. 16 y/o when she got prenant and 17y/o when the baby was born. Now she's trying again. I think she's doing it to get more money.
I remember wanting kids very young but thankfully that didn't happen. I'm married with 2 kids and no more on the way. I feel sorry for the baby in this case cause the mom is still a party person.!!!
