Now, switch out the plain noodles with whole wheat, high fiber ones, and limit them to 3 per layer - 9 for the pan (6 if you want - but you do need some carbs).
Recuce the cheese by half and buy the low-fat varieties.
Replace sugary processed sauces with diced tomatoes with fresh oregano and basil.

To replace the bulk of the dish - add spinach, diced zucchini, carrots, and mushrooms. Make sure that the ratio between veggies and cheese is at least 2 to 1.

The best advice - cut the finished lasagna into 24 servings, and only take one piece for a meal. Add a salad of tossed greens to fill up the plate, and you can be satisfied.
