What does God wants about us? And why is everything hard in this life around us? What is suffering for God, shall we be rewarded for having suffered?

~ EVERYONE HAS TO FACE TRIALS OF GOD... the unbelievers are postponing the difficult times till the end (so it seems)... but their time will come to burn in the lake of fire.

Meanwhile, as Children of God... being written in the Lambs Book of Life, we must continue to know that what is happening to us is helping to refine us into His vessel... a vessel unto honor... we were created for His pleasure. Keep up the faith! Fight the good fight. Keep on the narrow path! Keep short accounts with Jesus! It won't be long, and we'll all be at the Banquet Table with our Lord!

Our reward for our suffering, you ask:
The Lord only took six days to create the heavens and the earth and all within it. Then He rested on the seventh day, correct?

Knowing that, at the age of thirty-three, He died on the cross for your sins... for my sins, AND, since that time, He has been PREPARING A PLACE FOR US!
Think about that statement... 6 days to create what we see... heaven and earth, etc... and over 1960 some years to BUILD OUR NEW HOMES... FOR HIS CHILDREN... THAT HE LOVES SO MUCH... THAT SHARE HIS LOVE... whew! Are we going to be Blessed or what? Century 21, you have no idea what the value will be on our new homes... in the City of Jerusalem... whew!

It'd be real easy to do a flippant response and say something like "God gives us mountains so we can learn how to climb", but that's only a partial answer.

Sometimes, it really is like the country-song quote above, and it honestly is as simple as that. It's a skill you need to maintain life ... isn't it marvelous that He has a plan for each of us?

Sometimes, it's preparation for a specific task, as in the classic religious story about the lump of clay that is worked into a fine teacup of the highest quality. Sure it hurt the clay at the time, but look at the marvelous result! It's training for what is to come and is actually a blessing; you've been chosen by God Himself to perform a task!

Sometimes, it's us. We are stubborn in our ways, set in our paths (which is not the route God intends for us). We continually overspend our money, then bewail God to understand why we are constantly broke. We eat twinkies while praying to God to please perform a miracle and allow 50 pounds of fat to instantly fall from our bodies. You get the drift :)

Sometimes, we never really figure it out until the end of our lives. I've heard both my grandmothers as well as other senior citizens tell a story that basically says "if I hadn't already gone through this, I'd never have been in a place to do that". The lesson learned isn't apparent for decades, if ever. Perhaps God is turning us in a different direction at those times? I don't know.

My friend, your question shows you are lonely, do you often feel as though God isn't really talking to you? That your prayers are useless? There is a real simple answer for that; you need to get God's words into you. Perhaps you haven't quite grasped that the Bible is God's entire vocabulary to us, and anything you need to hear from Him comes from that book. Memorize and use the Scriptures in your everyday life; ask yourself what God would have you do in every situation, and find the answer in the words of the Bible. Soon, you and God will be on a really good talking basis; you'll ask a question, the Scripture will answer ... it's sort of cool "hearing" from God that way :)

I don't believe that God is testing us all the time. Yes, there are times when our faith is tested to see how strong we are, but we all live on this earth and no one is exempt from problems. That's just part of life. God never said that life on earth would be easy. Bad things happen to good people all the time and they have nothing to do with God punishing them or testing them. Life is just not easy at times and you have to learn how to keep your cool in the middle of all the stuff that happens. Problems and trials help to mature us and force us to grow up. Think of where you would be if you didn't learn from past experiences. The things you learn can also help others that are going through your same situation or perhaps even worse.

So the next time you're facing a red sea in your life. Don't ask "why is God doing this to me", ask yourself better, "what am I supposed to learn from this experience". Remember that the, "test of your faith produces endurance".

We're not abandoned, but we are given trials that make us stronger and make us better people. I can look back at some of my trials and see how I was carried through them. But I am also a better person for having the experience of some of the hard things in this life. We are here to be tested - if it's too easy - is it really a test?

Well This is all about faith...
You might be not strong enough (sorry) in faith so that you could satisfied your own heart by your faith.
It might be the queation of your heart (spirit) to you that why you are doing so and what are you gonna get from all that.?

Reply is that "Human beings are so restless and paitenceless that they want to see results immediate."
This must not be the case. some time we say to ourselves that why we are doing ...?

God wanted us to choose pious and virtue people among bad and eveils people. So thats why he created the good and bad both.
Now if some one challenge that i m faith full person in the world so do u think that God will never examin them. ofcourse he will so he could check that weither his chellenge was a proudness of his teachings or is he really a faith full person. So that in next world God could award him/her with best things.

So hardships comes to pious peoples but one should really be patient and tolerated enought that he will accept it considering that he is fullfilling him self.

So keep faith in your self and never let bad spirit come in to you because it can make you disagree against God. and trust me no one can win against him because he is one and superior.

Note:Judgement day has to come and all people will be filtered from that day and there would be rewards for every one.if u trust on the judgement day.

Hope that answered the question.

God's trials> for perseverance (steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., esp. in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.)
Read Malachi3:3 "He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver"
There are alot of reasons> to help you become stronger, mature, to depend on Him, etc..

Why isn't it simple?> was it simple for Jesus on the cross? He knows what your are capable of and remember He is in you. When going through a trial/test focus on the Lord and remember he might be preparing you for the road ahead. No, its not easy being out of your comfort zone, yet He is a good parent. He discipline's those He loves..
Lonely on the road?> you are not. Look to Him for counsel, support and peace during the storms. That's one of the reasons for fellowship with other believers we are not alone, we all go through this..
Love?> I am not sure what you mean. Maybe this will help. Read 1 Corinthians 13:3-7about Love.
Abandoned?> Again, fellowship with other believers and go to the Lord in prayer.. You have His Holy Spirit.
Remember God is your Father.. Go to Him and talk to Him from your heart(even though He knows your heart) tell Him how you feel. Trust Him and know that He is with you at all times. Remember the book of Job? When praying ask for insight. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Ask Him to teach you how to be intamate with Him. When reading His word ask Him to give you knowledge, understanding, wisdom. Ask Him to help you know that He is with you.
God Bless you...

Hi! This is one of my favorite Bible verses and I think is just perfect for your question:

James 1:2-4
Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.

Just like with our physical bodies, our muscles wouldn't develop if we don't lift weights, exercise, etc. Because God wants us to grow and mature spiritually, He gives us "spiritual exercises" to produce endurance in us and increase our faith.

Remember,

1Cor.10:13
The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

God bless!

It is true that many feel God is testing us. Is that really so? Notice what God tells us by means of his servant at James 1:13: "When under trial let no one say I am being tried by God. For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone." Did you notice? God does not bring trials upon us.

However, it is accurate to say that God allows trials to come upon us. But why?

The account in the book of Job gives much insight into this. Job Chapter 1, verse 6 through Chapter 2 verse 7 should be read. Satan in effect is saying that God bribes people to worship him by protecting them from every little thing and giving them every little thing. Satan also is saying that the only reason Job is faithful is because of this protection and material blessings. But if God removed same, Satan could get Job to curse God. This was not a wager, as some people say. Satan is slandering not only God but the faithfulness of his human creation. Notice what Satan did in connection with the killing of Job's ten children, Job's material goods and Job's health.

This slanderous charge made by Satan extends to us as well. So Jehovah God is allowing, for now, trials to come upon people. If he protected us from everything and constantly blessed us with material things, he would be playing right into Satan's hand. Remember, Satan is really saying that God bribes us. Jehovah will NOT help Satan prove his case.

In the end, God delivered his faithful servant, Job, and blessed him with more than he had at the beginning. Job and his wife even had ten more children. Moreover, in the resurrection to come, those ten children who died will live again.

Soon God will deliver his faithful worshipers of today. But, they must worship him in truth and they must maintain integrity - like Job.

I'm not a believer....bit I'll take a stab at this one.....

It's easy to have faith and belief when it's easy. It's easy to be a kind and good person when life is easy.

You see the measure of people, what they are trully made of, in adversity.

This doesn't just apply to faith.

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He send His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?
