I think such a one would be judged according to their deeds:
Revelations 20:12
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds.
But I'm not entirely sure how that works.

God has placed in men's heart, the ability to discern good from evil.
They know... they have the feeling that what they are about to do is either good or evil. They make the choice.
The gospel message may not be preached to them, but they were made by the Creator...
In these 'end-times', there are very few who have Not heard the gospel message.
On 9/12... the day after the Twin Towers went down, Evangelist Billy Grahm spoke via television... around the WHOLE WORLD... simultaneously... to the WHOLE WORLD... for the first time in history. All those who had tv's heard the gospel message!
Now, history is unfolding before our eyes with the technology... cellphones can transmit accidents... deaths... natural disasters... miracles... etc... the news stations pick up the video and share with the rest of the world... THIS IS THE INFORMATION AGE...
People know GOOD FROM EVIL.

I am a fundamentals Christian (just so you know where I'm coming from). I believe God is perfect and that He cannot EVER make a wrong decision. He is perfect in His love, His mercy, and His justice. A perfect God cannot let sin go unpunished and nor will a perfect God banish someone to hell unjustly. Hell is simply the one place God chose not to be...because He isn't there...there is no love, joy, kindness, hope, etc (that is hell = total despair). God will place people there who have rejected Him...after all, why would someone who has rejected God wish to spend eternity in His presence anyway? He is simply giving them what they wanted in the first place!
It is not my place to make assumptions or decisions on what He will do for others when they stand before Him. I am responsible for the message I have been given and heard. I know about Jesus and Jesus has been explained to me....therefore, I have no excuse.
God will do the right thing by all of us. Do not let your questions of the fate and situation of those you don't know interfere with your salvation. You know the Good News. Accept it or reject it...that is your ultimate responsibility

Little Dreamer,
A true follower of Christ could NEVER truthfully answer this question. We are not told for certain. We are told that Christ will come at Judgment an HE will Open The BOOKS. We will either be in the BOOK of LIFE or bound to HeLL for eternity. Our GOD can not lie. HIS WORD is true. HE will be fair and our judgment will be fair also. We can not say, Only HE can do so. I am sorry that this is not mentioned but I must be honest on this point. Have a great day!

This is a very commonly asked question. There are two possible responses. First, it could be that those who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ will go to hell. Second, it could be that those who have never heard of Jesus Christ and the gospel will be judged in a different way than those who have heard of Jesus.
The Bible does not tell us specifically about what happens to those who have never heard. But it does say that Jesus is the only way to salvation (Acts 4:12). If it is possible that someone who has not heard the gospel can be saved, it must be through Jesus Christ and him alone (John 14:6). But, it could not be that a person who is not heard of Jesus can make it to heaven based upon being good since that would violate the scriptural teaching that no one is good (Rom. 3:10-12).
If all people who have never heard of the gospel of Jesus Christ end up in hell, then that would be right because God would never do anything that is improper. On the other hand, if any of them end up in heaven, then it would be the right thing to do for the same reason.
But, if righteousness before God can be achieved through being good, or sincere, or by following various laws, then Jesus died needlessly: "I do not nullify the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly," (Gal. 2:21).
Because the Scripture does not specifically address this issue, we cannot make an absolute statement concerning it. However, since the Bible does state that salvation is only through Jesus and that a person must receive Christ, then logically we conclude that those who have not heard the gospel are lost. This is all the more reason to preach the gospel to everyone.
"for Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. 14 How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard?" (Rom. 10:13-14).
Following are some verses that relate to this topic:
John 3:36, “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”
John 14:6, Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.
Acts 4:12, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”
Rom. 10:12-15 "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call upon Him; 13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD will be saved.” 14 How then shall they call upon Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GLAD TIDINGS OF GOOD THINGS!”
1 Tim. 2:5-6, "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave Himself as a ransom for all, the testimony borne at the proper time."
1 John 5:11-12, "And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."
Rev. 20:15, "And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Er. What's ridiculous, as far as I'm concerned, is the lack of comprehension that some people don't WANT to come to the "Father"; that there are other options than their way or fiery torment for eternity (which is a misunderstanding of what the OT says about "hell" - Sheol or Gehenna - anyway)
It's like being at an airport and being told "There's no way to Atlanta except through Atlanta Airlines!". Which is all well and good if that's what you want to do - go to Atlanta.
When you say, though "Thanks, but I don't want to go to Atlanta, I'm going to Denver" they'll tell you that that isn't an option. In dire and hushed tones they will warn you that if you don't get on the Atlanta Airlines plane, you'll wind up in Pittsburgh.
"Er, no. I've got a ticket to Denver."
"You're deluding yourself, and even if you don't realize it, you're bound for Pittsburgh, and you don't want to go there. It's horrible"
"Gotcha. Listen, could you just let go of my sleeve and let me get to the gate where I'm going to catch the flight for Denver?"
"There is no such gate. There is no such flight. Sure, they may SAY that they'll take you to Denver, but you're really dooming yourself to going to Pittsburgh. You only have those two options - Atlanta or Pittsburgh. Look around you - there's only Atlanta or Pittsburgh"
"Uh, that's only for this terminal. There are other terminals with flights to other places."
"NO, No, there aren't! Don't go through that door! You'll wind up in Pittsburgh!!!"
****
And as you land in Denver you shake your head, wondering how those folks can simply ignore the flights to everywhere in the world....

In the Bible it speaks of the age of understanding. Babies and young children too young to understand or grasp, or even know of God, are safe from Judgment, So are those who have never been told or shown. Those who live in remote villages that have never heard the story of Christ and Salvation will be accepted as will small children.

There is only one way to Heaven regardless of what we think or feel. You can still live peacefully and have unrighteous thoughts, a bad mind and an unsympathetic heart. What use is that to God?

The Almighty YHVH created this world very good. Once man sinned, he could no longer meet the requirements of YHVH. Because of His great love for man, He send His son the Savior. The Savior's name means YHVH is my Savior!--YAHOSHUA! The only way one can have his sins taken care of is to invite the Savior in to carry them. If a person chooses to remain attached to their sins, they will be consumed in the cleansing fire the Almighty will send to cleanse this world so He can make it new! How could the Almighty be more generous?
