Am I a Son of God?

John 1:12-13
"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

Jesus is THE Son of God but believing in Him as your savior brings you into God's family as a son of God. The bible says in Colossians 1:18 that Jesus is the firstborn ("and he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence") so that by Him we can come into God's family as sons and daughters of God.

Are you a son of God? I don't know. Can you become a son of God? Absolutely. It depends on what you do with Jesus.

well being a muslim the concept is that ....
"God is one. neither he gave birht to any one nor He was create. He is one".

now how you can say that you are his son. I mean look around you dont you see many things are happening i mean birds are getting mealing.. Plants are growing...? sun rises daily.. Rain comes down . Who is handling all these things. Ofcourse these are not the powers of a man. God is taking care of them.
For the time being let assum that u are his son so do you have any power to even stop your pee . or can you stop your knails to growing. Ofcourse these are most minor things that u cant so if you be the son of God then you must inherit some qualities from Him.

Second reason to not to be the son of God is that. what if there are two Gods i mean we are human being and we do fight against each other having same powers so what about God . I mean what if God A says to God be that sun will rise from North. and other not it should be from south. So there was chance to fight in persuing each other.

so these concepts are inherited all from christ who believe in 3 God ,1- Holy Father, 2- Son 3- Holy ghost. and some how relate Mary with wife of God.

Keep remember only one thing that God doesnt need any thing.
Neither God sleeps neither eat . neither drink.

One last thing to add that if God does so then we all do fight against him and eveil peoples just take God down.

Only you can answer that, But if you are born again, then you are a son of God, But not THE Son of God

When I was a Christian, my interpretation of the Bible was that we are all sons and daughters of God, I guess that would mean that Jesus is our brother!

However, i don't believe in the Bible or the biblical god theory. You are your own god therefore you are not a son, you are the master of your own destiny!

No I believe sons of God are angels. Nearly every refrence to sons of God in the Bible refer to Angels

If we accept that god get Jesus as son not as prophet
why we cant accept any one else as son of god

if you believe that God sent his son to die for our sins, and repent those sins then you are a child of God and you can call him Father
