I found this site for you at Yahoo Search don't know if it's relavent , but I tried:
Low-carbohydrate diet - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
... sugar levels, produced in the pancreas, are insulin, which lowers blood sugar ... diet guides generally recommend multi-vitamin and mineral supplements as part of ...en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low_carbohydrate_diet - 87k - Cached - More from this site

PS I've also found webmd.com has tons of medical info, I'm sure you will find some info there also.

I lost my Uncle to Pancreatic Cancer last year at 52. I'm not saying that's what happened to you, but I wish you well.
