i had great conversations when i talked the man who i knew from match.com and i knew him for almost one month now. however, finallly when we decided to meet and set the date to see each other, he kept making excuses... he said that he liked to see me too, but things were happened.. yes, i understand that.. but more than four times postponed our appointment... it does not sound right.. what is he afraid of? do you have any idea? should i just say 'bye'?

Yes, my guess is he's married or got a girlfriend already. Probably looking for a bit on the side but feels guilt and bails at the last minute. You could try giving him one last chance but stress that if he bails again then it's over.
