This morning I woke up feeling sick in my throat -like I had eaten something I shouldn't have. I had shrimps yesterday which I must admit didn't smell great - but I'm not a shrimp expert. Could it be this? Do you make an apointment with a doctor when you generally feeling sick and weak? -or will it go away by itself?
Thanks.

watch that sea food. yes my friend, seafood can get you really sick. my wife ate some bad anchovies paste as she is Filipina and she got so sick and bloated they had to cut her wedding ring off. My filipino friend in Germany ate the same thing and had to be hospitalised a long time and then as an outpatient because the seafood was bad and it screwed up her kidneys and liver...blood work showed the problems..she is OK now
so watch that seafood..food poisoning is very common even in the US...not just a third world problem

I would get some Benaydryl which will eleviate you symptoms, this way I would know my throat would'nt close up. Please take some, you might feel its effect immediately. Please take the recommended does. You can get Benadryl at Walgreens or Dominicks, and it's used for severe allergic reactions.
You should eat a light, clear foods and liquids, like chicken noodle soup, crackers, and avoid juices with acids, stick with a weak tea, or clear pop. I hope you feel better.

You're not a shrimp expert?
And I'm not a doctor!!!
Seems to be that you need to be talking to a doctor. Did I REALLY have to tell you that?

Please see a doctor. This problem could trigger others and by then it might be too late.
