I live in LA and right now it is pretty cool during the day. But it has been raining, so bring an umbrella. But then it does warm up sometimes so bring a bathing suit.
Main idea: the weather is always changing, bring a little bit of everything!

layers! things you can strip off when it gets hot/you are walking a lot, and put back on when it gets cold. the weather has been really funky lately.. hot one day, cold the next, hot in the morning, cold at night... check the weather before you get here and pack accordingly.
