I have made these previously and they have turned out great. They are absolutely easy to prepare as well.........even if you are a beginner.

PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES

INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
DIRECTIONS
Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in eggs.
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir into batter. Put batter in refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll into 1 inch balls and put on baking sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern. Bake in a preheated 375 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes or until cookies begin to brown. Do not over-bake

Ingredients:

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup margarine softened
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, margarine, and egg. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

Heat oven to 375.
Shape dough into 1 1/4 inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with a fork dipped in flour. Bake until light brown, 9 to 10 minutes. Sprinkle with granulated sugar mixed with food coloring. Cool 2 minutes then remove from cookie sheet.

INGREDIENTS

18 milk chocolate candy kisses, unwrapped (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine sugar, peanut butter, and egg.
Shape into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. At this point you may take a fork dipped in sugar and press each cookie to make a crosshatch pattern. NOTE: If dough is too sticky, refrigerate 1/2 hour or until easy to handle.
Bake for 10 minutes. Remove cookies from oven. Optional Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each warm cookie.

PREPARATION:
Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder; set aside. Cream shortening, peanut butter, and sugars; beat in vanilla and egg. Stir in flour mixture, blending well. Shape mixture into 3/4-inch balls; place on greased baking sheets. Flatten each cookie with the tines of a fork; dip fork in flour periodically to keep it from sticking to the peanut butter cookie dough.
Bake peanut butter cookies at 375° for about 10 to 12 minutes.

Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies

Makes 3 dozen
Prep time: 20 minutes
Bake time: 7-8 minutes per sheet

1 -1/4 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
1/2 cup CRISCO all-vegetable shortening or 1/2 CRISCO Stick
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg
1-3/4 cups PILLSBURY® Best All-Purpose Flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 375°F.
In the bowl of an electric mixer combine brown sugar, peanut butter, CRISCO Shortening, milk and vanilla extract; beat at medium speed until well blended.
Add egg. Beat just until blended.
In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; add to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended.
Drop dough by rounded measuring tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet. Flatten slightly in a crisscross pattern with tines of fork.
Bake 7 to 8 minutes, or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet; transfer to cooling racks to cool completely.

1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow or butter recipe yellow cake mix
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup shortening or vegetable oil
2 eggs
Granulated sugar


1. Heat oven to 375°F (350°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In large bowl, beat cake mix, brown sugar, water, peanut butter, shortening and eggs with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth.
2. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar and, on ungreased cookie sheet, place 2 inches apart. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped in sugar.
3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheet to cooling rack.

1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups peanut butter chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Combine sugars, peanut butter and shortening in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well afer each addition. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Mix just until blended. Stir in peanut butter chips with spoon. (Dough will be stiff.)
Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet. Make crisscross marks on top with floured fork tines.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set and tops are moist. Cool about 8 minutes on baking sheet before removing to flat surface.

1 c. splenda
1 egg
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c (half 8 oz block) soft cream cheese
Mix together. Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar

Bake at 350 until golden.Let stand a few minutes after to cool.Then enjoy have a good day hun and good luck.
