I haven't eaten lunch as no time but have had dinner, small portions, late at night (again, no time for dinner) but a healthy breakfast (all bran flakes and yoghurt...)...

Bran flakes and yogurt can "free up" the intestines and I imagine you had a good bowel movement in the past day or so.

Not to be gross, but...that can be a substantial portion of the weight.

It is normal to fluctuate by a pound or two each day because of regular bodily funtions and food intake.

Water and food have weight and eating and disposing of it will change your weight.

If you CONTINUE to lose weight by that pace, THEN you should be concerned.

losing 2 lbs in two days after not eating properly is certainly not of a concern. When I fast for one whole day the next day morning I lose around 3 lbs this is because the water and food we eat also having weight and this is directly shown on the weighing machine.

I agree with all the decent answers . I lose up to 5lbs a week sometimes then gain it the week after . As long as you eat healthy and drink plenty of water and not skip meals you shouldn't be concerned .

Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.

Any more than 5-6 lbs lost in a week is not good for you, Keep below that and you'll be fine. Starvation is not the way to do it though.

Thats a very silly diet u were on ... it is a little concerning that you have lost 2 pounds .. but not much .. it could be becoz ur intake was less as compared to normal days...so there would have been a little less stuff in your intestines when you weighed yourself

Nothing wrong with that, you are considered lucky! You probably have a fast metabolism and that's why you lost so much and you are not eating properly. good for you, wish I was that lucky!!!!

DEPENDS ON YOUR CURRENT WEIGHT. IF YOUR HEAVY TO BEGIN WITH YOU CAN LOSE WEIGHT PRETTY QUICK. BUT IF YOUR IN PRETTY DECENT CONDITION ALREADY ITS PROBABLY FLUID WEIGHT YOU'VE LOST RATHER THAN BODY WEIGHT. MAKE SURE YOU DRINK PLENTY WATER KEEP HYDRATED OTHERWISE YOU MAY GET A FALSE WEIGHT WHEN ON SCALES.
