can anyone tell me about their beliefs and whether Hungarian people know about Islam ?

The majority of Hungarians are Catholic, but with a strong Protestant minority. The Turks are one of the designated "bad guys" of Hungarian history (if not the worst, then one of the worst), so Islam is not a very popular religion in Hungary at all.

I am an american with Hungarian Roots. Believe me hungarians know about Islam you would have to stay in bed for years with the blanket pulled over your face not to know

~ According to "Operation World" , the major religions are Christian [92.01%]; Non-religious are 7.09%.
Pray for specific minority people groups within Hungary - the Jewish, Gypsy and Yugoslavian refugee communities. Pray there would be spiritual breakthrough and healing for these marginalized peoples, and that a firm identity in Christ would become a unifying factor.
