Interesting observation, however I don't think it's very accurate. In my own household, I do have a male that does seem to favor my husband, and a female that most definitely favors myself. However, we also have another female that favors my husband. I think it has more to do with how the dog sees the human, which one the dog perceives to be the dominant figure. More times than not, I think dogs would favor the men over the women because they are usually more dominant.

No not at all. Usually I have adopters come back because they adopted a male and the man was the one that wanted a dog so they come back for a female for him.

I have a couple that adopted one of the White German shepard pups (female) and she was the one that wanted a dog. She is awaiting my black labs to be ready to get a male.

I have all boys except my old coot and my mean nasty girl. The boys are MY Boys they are with me all the time. Non of them stray from me when we go out and meet me at the truck when we go. The girls wander off.

I think your data might be incorrect. You would have to take a very large sample to come up with an accurate conclusion. I have had male and female dogs and they have been equally devoted.

i have two poms one male and one female they both like females more i think because of the way females react to them

related to the sqeaking section sure its probable dreaming. my canines has carried out it for years and its many times carried out before or after her paws have been twitching. they are asserting paws twitching ability theyre working of their dream so i figured the sound grew to become into barking in her dream.

no my nieghbor has a male dog and he loves me wayyyy more that his own family. and i dont think that they should own any pets. with how they live. its horrible.
