Hi honey,
Before dieting, I'd suggest you see a qualified therapist to get to the root of your depression. Unless you figure out what is causing it, no amount of dieting will work till you are in a better frame of mind. Talking to a good therapist, along with a nutritionist will really help you figure out what YOU need, in order to get your life back on track and get your body in shape. In the meantime, don't cut down on food because its harmful for your body. Instead, work out! Exercise works wonders on your health as well as on your mental state. It will definitely help you feel better about yourself.
Good luck and God bless *~

You're asking for a diet plan but clearly state that the reason you are eating is because you are depressed.
Before starting a diet you should see a doctor. If you're suffering from depression, a diet isn't going to help much. It's possible that you may have a thyroid problem (regulates your metabolism) but it seems more likely that you have some issues in your life that need to be addressed.
When visiting your doctor, tell him or her that you haven't left the house and are eating all time, ect... The goal is to feel better no matter what you weigh. A diet only treats the symptom - not the actual problem.

I've felt that same depression myself, You have to ask yourself is it better just staying where you are paralysed by the fear and torment of it or worse venturing out. You have to redefine how you feel about things. It all seems impossible because you are trapped in the belief that you can't change things. Nothing anyone else gives you is going to help because you are the one who has to keep yourself following it. Take any opportunity to do things and don't be afraid of being hungry. If you change what you are eating you can eat just as much with not the same results. If you eat lettuce or tomato or fruits it takes a bit of getting used to but ultimately if you focus on how much you like the feeling of being clean inside and unburdened by what you ate it is easier cause if you focus on how the food is likely to make you feel after you eat it often it is much easier to come to the conclusion that the pleasure of eating it is outweighed by how it makes you feel afterwards. If you used a smaller plate and chew the food for a long time and make it an event not just something you snack on this can help to. What it actually is is much more important than how much it is. If you feel like it is deprivation you won't be able to keep it up you have to treat what you are doing as a new and exciting lifestyle change and love every part of it even the hard parts.

Do not ask for a diet plan from total strangers!!!
What you need is a professional to help you. They'll need to actually SEE you and run some tests on you. Get all your vital information. Then they'll be able to make a diet & exercise plan that's just for y ou.
There's a reason you're not losing weight, and the people on here and not qualified to give you a diet plan! I'm sure they'll tell you all sorts of things, but what you need to do is talk to a professional!

See this site which will help you feel happier and better about yourself. Then see the home page about losing weight. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Good carbs like celery and carrots will never make you fat. Bad carbs like cake will, but you don't need to know the whole science of glycemic load. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin and healthy. Salt has no calories but makes you fat and burning more calories does not help this fatness.
Find out about fastest way to lose weight, most effective exercise, good and bad fats, water retention and secret trick used by models to flatten their tummy before an event. Reading a book will take you hours but the information on a post, taking minutes to read, is not enough. The webpage below has just enough to know what you need to know. Links page has gov. BMI calculator to find out just how much overweight you are (teens plug in your age to compare to others your age).

i'm on weightwatchers. it's fantastic lost 5kg in the first two weeks.
but i'd suggest going to the doctor for you. maybe it's a hormonal problem or something like that, the reason why you can't lose the weight.
fad diets dont work. i have been trying for years but this weightwatchers is great. you could go online and check it out...
and yes, you should go to see a therapist, you need to change the way you feel inside before you will be happy with how you are on the outside... but yeah, check out weightwatchers (google it, i think it's australian)

There is no such thing as a DIET, take away the 'T' and what does it spell...DIE! Keep up your exercising and watch your calorie intake. Exercising actually helps with depression. The more exercising you do the more energy you will have. Take one day at a time, and don't get so down on yourself...Good Luck
