If your eyes has something in them that has irratated them (such as an eyelash hair, dust etc) then your eyes react to it. It could also mean that your eyes are slightly dehydrated.
Does this happen to you alot?
If it does then I strongly suggest seeing a Doctor to get eye drops/ treatment.
Crying doesn't cause swollen eyeLIDS but it can make you eyes slightly puffy in the morning (i.e red and the bottom area where your sleep bags are may be slightly red.)

Sinus preasure is a main cause of the swollen eyelids. And it is that time of the year. You got the heat on and the cod outside. It will cause inflamation that slowly will dissapear as the day goes on.

The most likely cause would be water retention - either splash your eyes with cold water in the mornings or put an eye gel (that you keep in the fridge) on them at night and when you get up. Either that, or it could be some sort of allergy?

usually excess water in the body. During the day I would bet you have some fluid in your ankles. At night it goes towards your head and causes puffy eye lids. Ask your MD to put you on a fluid pill to decrease the water in your body and decrease your salt intake
