Who told you to avoid anything? Question the person who told you. Eat what you get to eat. Everything is perfect here. Chicken skin, turkey skin, fish skin - but not the scales. The scales cannot be digested easily by the human body, thats all. But there is nothing harmful. So stop worrying, and eat everything, till it upsets your stomach and only then will you know your body reacts wrongly to it. Only then you actually need to stop eating.

yes, skin on fish is not so bad to have. one should avoid the skin of chicken and turkey because of excess fat. if u wanna avoid fish skin as well, then I guess there is no harm in that.

Only fish that have scales are healthy to eat. Shark and catfish would not be "healthy", to eat as neither have scales.
