If we delete the word racism from the English language then how are we going to adress the ever-prevalent issue of racism. It is a most important word. That's like asking should we delete the word pedophilia, becuase we want it to go away

Bad concept = bad idea

To get it removed from the dictionary? To remove it from the English language would be impossible, you see racist is only about black, white, brown, purple whatever. It's about anyone being afraid and WAY to ignorant about anything that's different. Be it politics, income status, whatever. So to get the word removed, you would need to teach the people to actually be open-minded and that won't happen because some people are happier hating things and insulting people that are different.

It's already happening.

The word is being over used, to mean things like racialist, ethno-centrist, against affirmative action, and even someone who can tell a good joke.

If it continues on like this, people will stop paying attention to the word and a new word will have to come in to describe the real racists.

Why ?

Do you think that deleting the word will stop people of one race being prejudiced against other races ? What about eliminating the words: 'murder', 'rape', 'disease', 'catastrophe' and 'nastiness' ?

Apply to the Ministry of Truth (minitru). They'll just ignore you though as it's only the inner party that gets to decide what makes it into Newspeak or not. Doubleplussad.

If you are successful, I will have a problem describing some aspects of my beliefs and may be forced to resort to the vernacular which some may find offencive.
