Bush did do it to protect Israel, but also to take away freedoms in america, and give America a reason to invade Iraq.

You should read books by Noam Chomsky. You might agree with his views. He is considered to be an intellectual figure within the left wing of the United States politics.

Friend what is it about 9/11 don't you understand,America was attacked by Muslums, & killed 3000 of our people. We did not ask for this war, We were forced into it, & now since we are protecting our people, The world cries wolf, As far as Israel is concern, Yes we will help Israel, But when God turns Israel loose, Israel will not need our help, they are a nation that God will use to scattered the arabs, That is Prophecies. Bush is empire building in Iraq. Certainly Iraq was no threat to the U.S. Saddam was bottled up and couldn't even fly an airplane across Iraq. The wmd charges were phony and they knew it.
I don't think it's about Israel. Ultimately it's about oil.
