Roses are red, violets are blue
I called you yesterday, you had the flue
I really think your not being true
You leave me dazzled with the lies you brew
I love you baby I really do
So I made this poem from me to you
It sounds so silly, heard that a few
But that's the way I feel for you
I am thinking words that rhyme with blue
But I can only think of shoe!?!
Thats why I am writing something new
To show you a "me" you never knew
I dont mean hue, nor due nor stew
And not as common as "How do you do?"
I thought of crew, of glue, of pew
But none that I can put in lieu
I think my poem fell shortly through
And all the rhyming simply blew...
If roses are red... If violets are blue...
I guess I can only simply love you....
