Slacker Jacks Recipe

3 ounces popped popcorn, approximately 3 quarts
1 cup salted peanuts
4 ounces unsalted butter
16 ounces dark brown sugar, approximately 2 cups
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Spray a sheet pan with nonstick spray and line with parchment paper. Spray the parchment paper with nonstick spray as well and set aside.

Combine the popcorn and peanuts in a large mixing bowl. Set aside until ready to use.

Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, corn syrup and vanilla and stir until combined. Heat the mixture until it reaches 250 degrees F, approximately 10 minutes.

Pour the syrup over the popcorn and stir to combine. You will need to work quickly because the syrup hardens rapidly. Spread the mixture onto the prepared sheet pan and bake in the oven for 1 hour. Cool completely.

Break into pieces and serve immediately or store in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days.

Chocolate Popcorn
1 Bag of Milk Chocolate Choc Chips
1 bag of Crunch N Munch or Caramel Popcorn

Melt chocolate over double broiler or by placing the chocolate in a glass bowl over a pan of boiling water.Next.Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.Once choc chips are melted dip popcorn in chocolate and place on cookie sheet.Let choc harden then enjoy!

You could run with this idea. You could make popcorn balls and dip those in chocolate. You could also make your OWN caramel popcorn and dip those.Make it your own and run with it.I have had it and it is really rich, but very delicious.Have a good day hun and good luck.

I have some chilies infused oil that I sometimes use to cook the popcorn in--it makes it spicy--you can use any flavored oil to give toy popcorn a different flavor--so don't settle for plain!

i like tuna canned in water, and that i consume it with crackers. Deviled eggs made with low-fat mayonnaise may well be an excellent snack too. you may pop some corn and drizzle with gently with honey. culmination are an all-time, all-around healthful snack too. :)
