Hi Lady_anja111!!
If your puppy has a discharge from its eyes, especially if present more than two days, have your veterinarian check it.
If your puppy has a discharge and squints or rubs its eye, the problem could be serious. Compare the pup’s two eyes. Is the white of the eye inflamed or does the eye have a cloudy, bluish cast?
If so, these could be symptoms of an inflammations, such as iritis, or a corneal ulcer or glaucoma. You should take the animal to your veterinarian right away.

My little dog who is now 8 months old still puts things in his bed! He,s sooo cute!! One day I found a sock, a slipper a rawhide chew bone one of my rollers and a bottle top! There were so many things in his bed that there was no room for him! He is also a thief! I caught him with his head in my shoulder bag where he grabbed my five pound note and ran off with it! Had to chase him to get it back! His breed is renowned for being independent with a mind of their own. Anyway, your little girl is only a baby, she will learn if you are consistant with your discipline. When she tries to bite you just say a firm loud NO! and give her a short sharp jab in her neck with 3 fingers and your thumb! This is equivalent to a bite. I learnt that technique from cesar millan the dog whisperer who has a tv programme on sky. This will put her in her place when she is challenging you. I don't think your puppy is dumb at all, she is still young, don't overload her with too much information, be patient and keep the training sessions brief and fun and full of praise. Why not contact a Labrador breeder to find out all you can about the breed. Look up champdogs website you will find lab breeders to contact there.

Yes i would take her to the vet. Sounds like she has conjunctivitis.
vet will prescribe some cream to put in them.
You could also bathe them with cotton wool soaked in warm water with a tiny bit of salt.
Depends on how severe it is.
Ring the ver either way.

I'd taker her to the vets to get checked out but providing the 'stuff' isn't yellow/green(infected) she should be ok. Is she kept in a draughty area at night?? This could be the problem.

I would clean her eyes first thing, and if it continues go and get it checked out, my cat was the same then he developed an ulcer in his eye and has to get 6 eye drops a day!! Hopefully this isn't the case with your wee fluffy pup.

Go with sophylake on this one. Great response! Does your dog have long hair that get's in it's eyes and irritate them? If so you may want to be sure it is trimmed out of her eyes in the future. It may be a grooming issue like trimming her nails.

What kind of dog is she??
My lab has sleepy eyes whenever he wakes up, even from a nap? Vet says he is fine. I think labs are prone to this?

It sounds like sleep to me, but just in case keep an eye and ear on her breathing, as long as she is breathing fine without congestion it should be alright
